INTEREST GROUP – HIKING

GROUP LEADER(S) – Anne Taylor

WHAT WE DO - We hike through parks and trails across the Durham Region. 

WHEN WE MEET – We meet bi-weekly (first and third) Friday of the month throughout the whole year.

WHERE WE MEET – We meet at the chosen park or trail at 9:30 A.M. Our hikes are usually two hours in duration or until approximately 11:30 A.M.

WHAT WE PAY – Nothing

HOW MANY MEMBERS – 8 Members, 12 members per hike. Open

WHAT REQUIREMENTS – Group members should wear appropriate footwear and have hiking spikes for icy areas. Groups members may want to bring a water bottle with them.
