ROM WALK King Street East Newspapers and Newsmakers
Another chance to discover something new about Toronto!
Walking along Toronto's first main street, we will learn about the historical characters who shaped the city and the colourful stories of the newspapers headquartered there from the 1820's up until today.
Join us for a guided tour of King St. East, Toronto, lead by ROM tour guide, Virginia Van Vliet.
Date is Tuesday, September 8 '26 at 10:30am till 12:30pm.
Cost is $16 per member and maximum registrants is 20.
Starting point is North West corner of King St. East and Berkeley St. and end point is King East and Victoria St. (near the King Subway Station).
You can drive yourself or join us on the Go Train to Union Station where you can walk about 20 min. to the starting point or take a bus or street car there from nearby Union Station.
There are many restaurants near the ending point which is just a short walk to Union Station.
