PROBUS WHITBY-BROOKLIN FUN RUN 2023 “Tour de Southern Whitby”
NEW ROUTE NEW VENUE
Are you up to the challenge of reading a map, using your GPS, following instructions, taking photos with your cell phone, and working in a group setting as you discover and pose with your group members at historic places or points of interest in Southern Whitby? Then, join us rain or shine
on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 2 p.m.
for the PROBUS WHITBY-BROOKLIN FUN RUN 2023 “Tour de Southern Whitby”.
COST: $38.00 per Member or $40.00 per Guest. (1 Guest per Member is allowed)
REGISTRATION: Done through Wild Apricot:
Members register individually. Members can register one guest. Please remember that the guest must be a person 55+ years, either a spouse, partner or a potential Probus member.
The PRICE includes: Coffee and a baked good, such as a muffin;
Barbeque (choice of ground chicken/veggie/ ground beef burger on a bun (gluten free bun available upon request) + 2 salads + pop/water at lunch time at the end of the Run and marking of score sheets;
Information package;
Prizes; and
A chance to get to know your Probus friends as you work together as a team.
TEAMS: 2/3/4 people per car
A cash bar will be available at the venue at the end of the Fun Run.
HOW TO SIGN UP YOUR TEAM:
After you register through Wild Apricot, 1 person from your team will contact Mary Smith by email and state the names of your team members. See the Membership List for Mary’s email. If you do not have a team, contact Mary and she will help you.
This will be explained in the Confirmation Letter that you will receive upon registering.
Each team needs the following:
* A GPS
* A charged cell phone + its charger designated for the photos
* Your reading glasses
* Own water bottles and any food you may need between 8:30 and noon
* A full tank of gas. You don’t want to lose minutes getting gas enroute.
